Samantha and Jeannette professionally known as Melody & Harmony are sisters blending their voices for Jesus. Born to Christian parents in Guyana, S.A., Jeannette is the youngest of three children and Samantha the eldest. Raised in the church, both girls accepted Christ as their Savior at an early age and live to please Him. Their greatest joy is to sing God’s praises and tell of His mercy and grace. They have been singing in their church choirs, and separately at weddings and funerals, but they gel when they sing together in Melody & Harmony.
In pursuit of utilizing their God-given talent, the sisters have written songs and carved out studio time. They launched out on their musical career with the single, “Thank You Lord” in 2013.
Though separated by many miles between the U.S.A. and Canada, their efforts to pursue their dreams are still thriving. They have an excellent support system from family and friends. These sisters are working professionals who have been blessed with jobs to help support their families. But their burning desire and number one goal in life is to SING GOD’S PRAISES.
This dynamic duo released their first EP in mid-October titled “Greater Purpose”. The songs on this album are representative of their answer to God’s call on their lives, to fulfill their Greater Purpose. “Awesome God”, one of the songs on the EP is demonstrative of the girls’ recognition of God’s grandeur. Its worshipful and reverent tone will draw the listener to join in and sing His praises. They are thankful for His continued guidance and hand of love in their lives and will continue to write lyrics that tell of His saving grace, His mercy, and unconditional love. They want the world to know that “He loved all of us before we knew ourselves and He deserves our praise”.
